12:30-2:00 – JOSEPH ANDERSON
Joseph Anderson is a consummate professional who has performed with a who’s who of NZ music and an impressive list of international artists. With over two decades of experience as a professional musician, Joseph has toured extensively within New Zealand and overseas honing his craft as a multi-genre performer, composer, guitarist and singer. Joseph is also a founding member of NZ psychedelic rock band People of the Sun, who released their debut album to critical acclaim earlier this year. Joseph’s live solo show brings a soulful and dynamic interpretation to the great songs of today and the classics we all love.
2:30pm-4:30pm – TURKEY THE BIRD
New Zealand’s folk trio “Turkey The Bird” will remind you of the famous Margarita cocktail infused with a hint of “Simon & Garfunkel”, 2 ounces of “Mumford and Sons”, a splash of banjo and served on ice on a sunny day.
Catchy folk songs with stunning rich melodies and effortless smooth lyrics. Songs that tell uplifting stories about love and life.
Hailing from the New Zealand left coast town New Plymouth, this uplifting band will hit you with beautiful three part harmonies and toe tapping rhythms.
The bearded trio features Andre Manella from Switzerland on guitar, bass and percussion, Adrian Whelan from Ireland on guitar, mandolin, bass and spoons,
and Sol Bear Coulton, the token kiwi, on Banjo and slide guitar.
5:00pm-7:00pm – EVAN RHYS & THE STEREO STREETS
Evan Rhys and Stereo Streets continue to bring the good vibes with original tracks that feel both fresh and nostalgic. Backed by a supergroup of top local players, Evan’s songs will have your feet moving and your soul humming. These are songs that transcend the walls of a venue, capturing a sound that’s at once timeless and new.
