Betsy and The Reckless are back at Shining Peaks bringing the smoky vocals that make you think of Amy and Adele and the guitar licks that make you dream of the 70s. Get up and dance and have a sneak peak into the songs on our in-the-works debut album! The Reckless combine NZ reggae and dub with classic blues to create a unique groove while Betsy sings original lyrics about warped love and rejection. Sam Johnson (Rhythm Ace Studio) sums up the sound as “modern day soul, with a nod to the past”, we call it “Schmoozey blues”.
