Alan Downes

Alan Downes is a songwriter who will transport you with his story telling. His songs are (mostly) true tales of people and places told with careful observation, a good dollop of humour and a little nostalgia.
Be prepared to laugh and maybe shed a tear as Alan takes you on a journey through Aotearoa New Zealand.

As usual at Folk @ The Fitz, the first half of the concert will feature invited floor singers. Alan will perform for the entire second half.
