Toil & Trouble

Toil and Trouble are three seasoned folkies based in Wellington who have each been making music for several decades and have been collaborating in between work, travel and family commitments since 2016, building a repertoire that draws from individual and shared enthusiasms for (among other things) Scottish fiddle tunes, English trad, contemporary songwriting and the telling of tales of labour, love and loss. Ron Craig, Jude Douglas and Mary Hubble combine voices, guitar, fiddle and flute to weave a spell that they hope will enchant and entertain you.

As usual with Folk @ The Fitz, the first half of the afternoon will feature invited floor singers. Toil & Trouble will perform the entire second half.
