The Salty Hearts

The Salty Hearts have many guises, but stay quintessentially Kiwi sounding with an Americana twist. Covering anything from The Muttonbirds, Steve Earle, Dolly Parton, The Beatles and LAB to Chuck Berry, Dusty Springfield, Rosanne Cash, The Pretenders and
beyond. They play many of their own songs too, lovingly penned by singer/guitarist Greg Sayer. The band features Dave Allen on guitar (of Hogsnort Bulldogs fame), Richard Guerin plays bass, Anje Glindemann plays drums. They all sing lead and harmonies, adding a hearty variety, texture and care to the music they create, with a mandate to entertain!
