Join us this Matariki long weekend as we celebrate the stars in the sky and on the stage at Asgard, New Plymouth.
Silver Sonics fuse pop swagger with 90s grooves and 60s melodic hooks reminiscent of Britain and America with a distinctly NZ flavour. You can expect their show to be an uplifting sonic ride with energetic, authentic grooves, catchy guitar riffs and meaningful lyrics.
Taranaki’s own MsAlignment is a powerhouse female-fronted rock band serving up sultry, funky originals with a bold injection of synthesized electronica. Think Janis Joplin reimagined for the modern era; raw, soulful, and fearless! MsAlignment blends expressive vocals, driving rhythms, edgy guitar riffs, and contemporary rock energy with classic rock roots to deliver a performance that’s as captivating as it is explosive.
And opening the night with a bang will be The Groundsmen – Taranaki’s premier original rock punk band!
