Join Age Concern Taranaki on International Day of Older Persons for a vibrant intergenerational march through Devon Street!
The Age Is Just a Number artwork will be brought to life with a colourful march right through Devon Street — celebrating the beauty and strength of ageing.
It all begins at Huatoki Plaza, with music from Gumboot Tango at 10am, a guest speaker at 10.45, and the march stepping off at 11. Those parking with a Gold Card in NPDC parks will enjoy free parking until 12.15pm.
Rain or shine, the event will go ahead, so participants are encouraged to bring their brightest umbrella. Anyone who registers online will also go in the draw to win a wall hanging of the artwork valued at $190 — but they must be present at the draw to win.
