“How To Get Gigs” Workshop for Taranaki Musicians & Bands

“HOW TO GET GIGS?”
Want to start performing more often but not sure where to begin?
Join local musician, booking agent and Manella Productions director Andre Manella for a practical workshop designed to help Taranaki musicians get out there and start gigging.
Over two hours, we’ll cover:
🎤 How to put together an engaging live set
🎤 Finding the right venues and events for your style of music
🎤 How to approach venues, festivals and booking agents
🎤 Creating professional photos, videos and promotional material
🎤 Essential live performance equipment
🎤 What to expect at different types of gigs
🎤 Local Taranaki gig opportunities
We’re also excited to welcome special guest speaker Sharina Parsottam from the TSB Festival of Lights, who will share valuable insights into what festival organisers look for and how to submit a strong performer application.
Whether you’re preparing for your first gig or looking to perform more regularly, this workshop will provide practical advice, local knowledge and real-world experience from people working in the industry.
