DROSAN is a New Zealand-based jazz ensemble led by Argentine duo Fede (keys) and Pablo (drums). Blending Argentine roots with modern jazz, their dynamic lineup and influences—like Chick Corea and Astor Piazzolla—shape a unique sound. With standout performances and an upcoming vinyl release, DROSAN is making a bold mark on the global jazz scene.
Founded in 2022 on Taranaki’s sunny west coast, The Mara delivers a vibrant, genre-bending indie rock feast. Blending Latin, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European sounds with dub, reggae, rock, funk, and jazz, they create an irresistibly upbeat, zesty musical recipe. They’ve shared stages with Coterie, Summer Thieves, Black Comet and have played some of NZ’s most iconic festivals.
Sophie Songbird is a multi-disciplinary artist whose timeless taste and magnetic presence shine through every creation. Beyond her captivating songwriting and live performances, Sophie is a skilled vinyl DJ, spinning soulful, uplifting grooves that foster joy & connection. Her carefully curated sets blend global rhythms with an emphasis on female vocalists as well as the rich sounds of Aotearoa. You’ll encounter everything from hip hop, to folk, to country, to spiritual, to disco and beyond. Each performance is a celebration of positive vibrations and the unifying power of music.
