Sisters Julia & Sophie Cooper began writing songs together in 2017 and have since been exploring expressing their sounds, from duo to 8 piece band and all in between. With 2 studio albums released & multiple tours of Aotearoa, Dr. Reknaws sound has become a quintessential kiwi vibe. In the sisters original music you’ll find flavours of soul, reggae & folk, but most importantly blood harmonies and lyrics from above and below.
