Escape the winter chill and join us for an unforgettable afternoon of world-class live music in the comfort of The Plymouth Hotel.
Featuring a stellar nine-piece ensemble led by acclaimed alto saxophonist and arranger Alex Trask, alongside Mike Taylor (trumpet), Oscar Laven (tenor saxophone), Kaito Walley (trombone), Daniel Yeabsley (baritone saxophone), Duncan Haynes (piano), Elija Mulheron (bass), John Rae (drums), and popular vocalist Eugene Wolfin.
This outstanding nonet will present a vibrant and uplifting programme of big band swing favourites, beloved Broadway classics, and beautiful ballads. You’ll hear some of the finest songs of the 20th century brought to life by one of Wellington’s most exciting jazz performers.
