In 2008 the licence for The MOST FM lapsed when the radio course was discontinued. A group of dedicated Mosties chipped in some money to repurchase the licence so the MOST could be relaunched. We are indebted to this fine group and we are forever thankful to them for saving The MOST FM.

100 Club

At the start of 2026 our transmitter died and only through the use of a borrowed transmitter did we manage to stay on air. The 100 Club was launched whereby 100 people or businesses donated $100 each so we could raise the $10,000 we needed for a new transmitter. This successful campaign kept us on air and we were humbled by the support from our community. A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped with this from everyone at The MOST FM.
