THE RITZ BIG BAND

Taranaki Jazz Club, Sunday 2 November 2025 at the Plymouth International Hotel

A wonderful 19 piece big swing band that has been playing around Taranaki for 20 years and who focus mainly on the big band era of the 1940's but also dabble in some modern stuff for a bit of fun.

Vocalists are all local New Plymouth musicians – John Paki Paki, Ryan Jacobs and Kim Carr. The band will be performing primarily big band style jazz/swing, Count Basie Benny Goodman and vocals from the likes of Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin.

Doors open 3.45pm for a 4.30pm start.
