The Overchur

The Overchur are a genre-bending collective of Taranaki musicians who play a unique slant on Traditional Irish music. Emotive uilleann pipes sit front and centre, playing a mix of trad jigs and reels along with original melodies. Beneath sits a bed of ambient rock, downbeat dub and synthy ska that moves through the gears from go to woah, creating an uncharted landscape from this distinctive collision of sound.
