From the foot of Mount Taranaki, Lex Vergroesen—aka ExtendedVersion—brings a lifetime of deep musical immersion to every set. Born in the Netherlands and shaped by five years in the Amsterdam underground, Lex’s sound is rooted in house, electro, italo, disco, new wave, acid, techno, and everything strange and beautiful that sits just outside the mainstream. Never one for the spotlight, Lex’s DJ journey has been a humble one, quietly soundtracking private gatherings where freedom and connection come first. Now, with ExtendedVersion, he’s stepping onto new stages—not to chase hype, but to share music the way it’s meant to be experienced: lived in, not consumed. For Lex, the extended version is always better—there’s more space to get lost, more time for the groove to unfold, and more chance for the present moment to breathe. His sets are genuine, shaped by mood and intuition rather than expectation. Whether guiding a dancefloor through hypnotic house, shimmering synth wave, raw Chicago grooves, or leftfield gems from beyond, Lex believes in the slow burn: music that moves you, challenges you, and invites you to lose yourself for a while. Living a quiet life with his family at the edge of the wild, Lex keeps things grounded. Most days you’ll find him juggling work, chasing waves and his little ones, soaking up nature, and digging for records once everyone else is asleep. UPPER

Born in Poland and based in New Zealand. UPPER delivers uplifting songs with a groove. His sound is a vibrant mix of classic house, disco, indie dance, Afro-Latin, and deep house. He began his DJ career in 2016 and has held residencies as a DJ and event manager at various venues in Poland. UPPER has performed across New Zealand, including two appearances at the Festival of Lights in New Plymouth, as well as shows in Japan, Italy, and Poland. Inspired by music from all corners of the globe, he’s always on the lookout for a new groove

Isol is a music producer and DJ who relocated from London to New Plymouth in 2020. He plays a mix of live and edited tracks to create a web of intricate layers and driving rhythms. With a passion for the edges of electronic music, his performances traverse the realms of Progressive, Hypnotic, Minimal and Breaks to create a fluid and uplifting space.
