July 2025 Featuring:
Femme pioneer, songwriter, and dreamer Juliet McLean moves in an ever-changing, ever-expanding musical landscape. Inspired by jazz divas, country truth-tellers, and soul-funk groovers, her musical output is uniquely her own. She has worked alongside producer Ben King(Goldenhorse), collaborated with various Taranaki creatives, and released two EPs, a full-length album, and a number of singles.
Hamish Cameron has been making music since the age of 10 years old playing trumpet for his grandfather’s municipal brass band. Some years on, the instruments have changed but the quest for a place in the musical conversation burns as bright as it ever did. Parts folk, pop, indie, alt…. All feature in the soon to be released body of 13 songs, exquisitely crafted, reflecting a life back on itself as a touchstone for growth.
Soundbite Sessions take place on the first Friday of every month, Level 2, Entertainment Space, Centre City.
