OL’ KING COLE TRIO

Sadly, we have to advise that due to a medical emergency The High Society Swingers have had to cancel their performance on Sunday, 2 nd February. However, we have been exceedingly fortunate to be able to bring to you the Ol’ King Cole Trio. This trio last performed for the club a few years ago.

The band is made up of Louis Thompson-Munn on piano/vocals, Robert Henderson on double bass and Lockie Bennett on guitar. Ol’ King Cole brings the music of the great Nat ‘King Cole’s early KING COLE TRIO. This trio ran from 1943 to 1950, where people would dance the night away in bars and clubs. Ol’ King Cole will bring classic Nat King Cole tunes and his reworked standards from the era. Please join us for a great afternoon of music – these musicians have dropped everything to perform for us so please come along and support them.
