Nana & Petal Live at the Shed

This Friday 22 March Paul and I will be playing this lovely venue in Inglewood next to Lure cafe on Moa Street. It is outdoors in the garden so bring a seat your picnic and a beverage.
$15 cash each on the gate, kids free, 5.30pm kick off. Lure Cafe will also be open for coffee and kai. Keep an eye on our Nana & Petal Facebook page for cancellation if the weather looks unsuitable!!!
The Nana & Petal set comprises an eclectic mix, originals, a penchant for songs written by friends & NZ songwriters such as Micheal O’Dempsey, Reb Fountain & Hammond Gamble. They include covers by Uppity Blues Women, the Devil Makes Three, Teddy Swims, Beth Hart & Tom Waits, with lesser-known compositions from the Black Pumas, William Elliott Whitmore, & bluesman C.W Stoneking, all suited to Paul’s piano style. The duo spans blues, roots, folk, and alt country, with Paul pinning down the groove & blistering solos on piano with a real sensitivity for accompanying a vocalist, showcasing Celine’s arresting vocal style, charisma & storytelling magnetism.

The event is finished.
