Born to a gypsy mother and a folk singing songwriting father CrystalStarr has been playing guitar and writing songs since she was thirteen.
Travelling to many music festivals she has also been singing since she could talk. Having the chance to develop her sound over the years and learn from the many colourful, musical characters that attend the various festivals. She has written hundreds of original songs and continues creating new music.
CrystalStarr studied classical music and underwent vocal training up to a grade 5.
Her voice has developed over the years busking a lot and has matured to a deep, smokey tone though those high notes still remain.”
