LOCKIE BENNETT’S BOPLICITY

Lockie Bennett is regarded as one of the most in-demand jazz guitarists in New Zealand. This new
and exciting quartet features Alex Trask on alto saxophone, Elijah Mulheron on bass and John Rae
on drums.

The Quartet features some of New Zealand’s hardest working and hardest swinging jazz musicians
specialising in the bebop tradition. They will be playing the music of Charlie Parker, Bud Powell and
Dizzy Gillespie. We can expect broadway tunes and more.
The Plymouth International Hotel venue is a full cabaret setting with dance floor, bar and snack
menu.

Doors open 3.45pm for a 4.30pm start.
