JAMIE PYE QUARTET

Jamie is a Melbourne/Wellington-based guitarist and composer.

Having studied at both The Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and the New Zealand School of Music in Wellington, Jamie hopes to create music that conveys an honest sense of storytelling and narrative.

His compositions draw influence from all genres and musical traditions, however, draw closely towards the work of composers and bandleaders Brian Blade, Kendrick Scott, Petros Klampanis and Aaron Parks.

After performing regularly around the Wellington scene the past two years, Jamie is thrilled to take his original music on the road, joined by some of his favourite musicians:
