Hāwera Morning Street Festival

Get ready to celebrate the festive season at our Hāwera Morning Street Festival, a free community event organised by Bizlink Hāwera! With High Street blocked off in preparation for the annual Christmas parade, we’re turning this into a vibrant celebration on December 14th from 9 AM to 12 PM. The parade will kick off right at noon and the float theme this year is ‘Santa’s Little Helpers’!

Join us for a fantastic morning filled with fun and entertainment! Stroll along the High Street and explore a variety of stalls featuring local artisans, delicious food, and unique gifts. Kids can hop aboard Tinka the Train for a delightful ride, while professional face painting by Morph will add a splash of creativity to their day.

Don’t miss live entertainment throughout the morning, highlighted by an unforgettable performance by the band Banana Mundo on the Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga stage. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday festivities before the parade begins!
