GOOD HABITS with Jenny Mitchell

Composed of singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz and accordionist Pete Shaw, the nomadic duo create folk-infused music that test the limits of their traditional instruments.  Their songs tell stories of their adventures, blending trad folk with a warm yet quirky jazz-indie influence. Bonnie and Pete found themselves ‘happily stranded’ in New Zealand during Covid-19 and have performed alongside a line up of New Zealand’s top acts including Nadia Reid, Ria Hall and Lost Tribe Aotearoa. They were winners for the 2020 Purbeck Folk Rising Competition and their nomadic summer saw performances across New Zealand’s largest festivals: TSB Festival of Lights, Resolution, Cuba Dupa, Luminate and more.
