Celtic Ferret

Some think that Jean Reid and Ian Bartlett (aka Celtic Ferret) are Time Lords!

They transport their audiences back to the bygone days of plough boys, poachers and press gangs.

Their songs, stories and tunes originate from their British heritage as well as embracing the treasure trove of New Zealand folk song.

Celtic Ferret have been guests at festivals and clubs the length and breadth of New Zealand and are delighted to be invited to the Fitz.

They are multi-instrumentalists with an extensive repertoire of songs and tunes.

As usual at Folk @ The Fitz, the first half will feature invited floor singers. Celtic Ferret will perform the entire second half.
