Camelin is an artist whose music unites the rough edges of punk with the fragility of the singer-songwriter. With only a few, yet powerful words and melodies, he penetrates deep into the hearts of his listeners, unfolding an atmosphere that is both melancholy and hopeful.
His songs, which are delivered in both German and English, are about more than just personal experiences—they are stories of social observation, of longing, and of resistance, shared in an honest and authentic way. With his acoustic guitar and raw, soulful performance, Camelin conveys an energy that nonetheless retains the intimacy and emphasis of a singer-songwriter.
Fred Hallauer, a music journalist, once described him this way:
“He normally plays with a punk band; here on stage, he stands alone with his guitar. His lyrics are not just strong—they are also meaningful and challenge you to think.”
Together with Sandro Furter (lead guitar, pedal steel), he has developed a remarkable concert experience and continues to tour, touching his audience with his powerful yet thoughtful sounds.
