Art Exhibition Opening – “In & of the Earth” by Amanda Watson

“In & of the Earth” is an exhibition of paintings made in Pukekura Park, Ngāmotu New Plymouth by Amanda Watson from October 2022 to April 2023.

Opening night: 25 May, 5.30 – 6.30pm.
Exhibition open 26/27 May 10am-1pm.

Amanda has a particular interest in painting in environments, both natural and built. She is Associate Editor of the Journal of Visual Art Practice, teaches part-time at the Waikato Institute of Technology, contributes to academic research in practice-led art, and has a working studio in her local community of Raglan.
